Overseas Study Tour Program on Planning, Management and Implementation of Secondary Education (Group-1 & Group-2) to Canada under Secondary Education Quality and Access Enhancement Project (SEQAEP)

Description of Project: SECONDARY EDUCATION QUALITY AND ACCESS ENHANCEMENT PROJECT of the Directorate for Higher and Secondary Education (DHSE), implemented to contribute to poverty reduction in Bangladesh by improving the relevance of secondary education in the country to the demands of the labor market, with principal address at Secondary Education Quality and Access Enhancement Unite, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.
Description of actual services provided by DPDS in the assignment:
SEQAEP wished to enter into an Agreement with ASSOCIATION OF CANADIAN COMMUNITY COLLEGES (ACCC), CANADA for the delivery of study tour program on “Planning, Management and Implementation of Secondary Education” for the Secondary Education Quality and Access Enhancement Project; The study Tour Program activities were: Present an overview of secondary education in Ontario by Ted Whittaker and Usha Finucane, Present an overview of Secondary Curriculum in Ontario Publicly Funded Schools in Canada, visit Niagara School Board and Present an over view of different activities of Niagara School Board; Visit Ottawa school Board to know system of operation.
